In a browser go to https://<ip address of host machine>:5693/

It may say Not Secure but you can get by that by allowing an exception for this website

It will ask for your token to gain access.

Hit the "Checks" pick along the top.

Is all that working?

In any configs are you using a hostname? Or are you strictly using IPs?

Also please send me a SystemProfile:
To send us your system profile.
1. Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
2. Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
3. Click the "Download Profile" button
4. Save the profile.zip file and share this in a private message and then reply to this post to bring it up in the queue.

Hi

Thanks for the System Profile - I will be going through it shortly.

Were you able to test:

Code: Select all

In a browser go to https://<ip address of windows machine>:5693/

It may say Not Secure but you can get by that by allowing an exception for this website

It will ask for your token to gain access.

Hit the "Checks" pick along the top.
Thanks

Hi,

Yup - sorry about that.

Could you please check the diskspace on your XI server? I see some error messages
where it can't create a log due to diskspace.

Thanks

Hi

I am seeing the error:
Error: Template 'xiwizard_ncpa_host' specified in host definition could not be not found (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts/gbahepod01s01.tntad.fedex.com.cfg', starting on line 16)
Error: Invalid max_check_attempts value for host 'gbahepod01s01'
Error: Could not register host (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts/gbahepod01s01.cfg', starting on line 16)
Could you go to Configure, Core Config Manager, hit the "Hosts" box and look for gbahepod01s01.
Hit the "Check Settings" tab, and check the value of the "Max check attempts" field.

Thanks

I went to fix it, however the web ui got stuck on applying configuration. I now believe theres a bigger problem than ncpa that is preventing me from doing any active checks
