NXI 5.8.4 new service downtime lists hosts, not services

Post by gormank »

There seems to be an issue with service scheduled downtime creation in 5.8.4 since instead of listing services, it lists hosts. See the pic attached.

Hi,
How are you doing?

Interesting .... it should not have done that.

I have just tested that on my Nagios XI 5.8.4 and looks like it does list the correct "services" (please see picture below).

Looking at the picture provided, seems like the list came from the "v" (error down), which you should select the hostfirst before services are being displayed for that host.

Maybe the UI stuck?

Could you please try again?

If still not working, please try restart Nagios xi:

Code: Select all

systemctl restart httpd
systemctl restart nagios

Best Regards,
Vinh

Sorry, I asked the mods to disallow my posts since I figured it out after I posted and they moderate my posts because I was a bit lippy years ago LoL.

You select a host, then services on the host show up. It's a little confusing to see a list of hosts under a service dropdown, but it's all good.

Thanks!
