installation of LINUX agent fails

Post by pkarr »

Our LINUX admins are getting the following error when trying to install the LINUX agent on our two new Netbackup servers.

Here is a copy of the install and some extra info.

Re: installation of LINUX agent fails

Post by pbroste »

Hello @pkarr

Thanks for reaching out, on the failed NRPE agent install. It appears that the install is failing on the Subscription Manager check on the repo and want to check to see if you have tried to install via source found here.

Subscription-Manager optional workarounds that you can implement:

Code: Select all

subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-optional-rpms
or setting to:
/etc/yum/pluginconf.d/subscription-manager.conf edit enabled=0
Thanks,
Perry
