Hi All,
Have installes Nagios XI (64 bit)
Have followed manual procedure for installing oracleinstall.sh (downloaded files por 64 bits)
Modified paths por 64 bits
Run wizard and I get this as my first error
CRITICAL - cannot connect to 172.18.42.121:1521. ORA-12504: TNS:listener was not given the SERVICE_NAME in CONNECT_DATA (DBD ERROR: OCIServerAttach)
Then I saw that even though I had added the instance in the wizard it didn't appear anywhere so I modified the original command adding /sid after the port (1521) and now I have this new error
CRITICAL - cannot connect to 172.18.42.121:1521/testcdr. ORA-21561: OID generation failed (DBD ERROR: OCISessionBegin)
connect user has rights
firewall not blocking anything
Been trying for 2 days with no luck.
Some help please

Re: Can Not Connect to Oracle DB with Oracle Wizards
Can close topic, problem due to oracle client 64bit
Issue solved.
Would be important to fix bug in wizard which asks for SID but doesn't place it in command line
Thanks
