Additional Severities

Everyone,

Good day, would anyone know if Nagios plans on adding additional severities in the future? Currently there only seems to be warning and critical, and I am curious if there are plans to change to something like (Critical, Warning, Information) or (High, Medium, Low). I ask because our ticketing system is three tiered, and that makes Nagios difficult to align with what's already in place.

I found this post from 4 years ago, which makes it sound like it would be very difficult for Nagios to Implement.

Hi,

Actually Nagios handles four states.

The return codes Nagios recognizes are:
0 for OK
1 for Warning
2 for Critical
3 for Unknown

The return codes are supplied by the plugins.
