Windows Service with a Comma in the name via SNMP

Post by GldRush98 »

I have a service that needs to be monitored with a comma in its name:
SAP Crystal Reports Server, OEM Edition
But the problem is that the snmp check is detecting the comma as a list of multiple services, not a single service name.
We've tried \, /, &, and multiple combos of those chars to escape it, but can't seem to figure out how to escape it.
How do we do it?

Hello @GldRush98

Thanks for reaching out; typically, quotes around the "service name" will work.

If that does not work, it may require editing the service name via a registry edit.

Thanks
Perry
