Authentication plugin 'caching_sha2_password' reported error

Monitoring MySQL server.

When trying to monitor 1 of my MySQL servers I get this error. I have set the host to the nagios IP.

CRITICAL - cannot connect to database. Authentication plugin 'caching_sha2_password' reported error: Authentication requires secure connection.

What version of MSSQL is the remote system running?

What is the plugin name that the check is using?
