export config from prod to backup

What is the best method to take the config files and all sensors from existing prod servers running x.version Nagios XI to x+1.version on the backup server? Both servers have the same OS version but diff versions of Nagios XI.

Thanks for reaching out, and here is a support article that outlines the migration:

Note; "The version of the fresh install of Nagios XI that you are restoring to needs to match the version of Nagios XI that the backup was taken from".

Once you have completed the migration, upgrading is suggested.
