How to restart an alarm

Hi how to restart an alert to resend a trap and notification (without change the hostname)

I usually just go view the service, click the + (advanced) tab, and submit an OK result with the Submit passive check result link to reset it. The recover is what resets it.

I try it with a host but it does not sent anything (snmp trap + notification)

It's only resetting it, you would need to submit a DOWN through the same method for it to fire a notification/trap.
