Poll NagiosXI via SNMP for Data ?

I believe I already know this answer but I have to ask anyway. Is it possible to poll NagiosXI via SNMP for alert data ? I know there are a number of much easier api's for this but this is a unique scenario where the customer would like to poll nagiosXI for alert data via SNMP.

Hi Marcus,

Unfortunately we don't have anything to poll however we do offer the ability to send traps:

That being said you might be able to set something up using Net-SNMP to make API calls but that isn't a part of the product perse.
