Checking Custom Windows Services

Post by omarrrthepirate »

Hello and good day. We have added all of our devices in Nagios XI through the Bulk Host Cloning and Import Wizard instead of deploying the NCPA agent. Is there a way to monitor custom windows services this way or do we have to use the NCPA? If we have to use the NCPA, do I need to delete the host first and re-add it via the NCPA wizard? Also, what API token is it looking for? Thank you very much for your help.

Hello @omarrrthepirate

Thanks for reaching out; you can run the Wizard and add "new" checks that will expand the checks and not affect previous settings.

To add service checks:
