disk usage full on nagiosxi server

Hello,

Our root partition is full, the server was not partitionned properly so at this time, we only have 50GB on the root partition.

I have storage available elsewhere.

most of the data is here
/usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata

Can I use a symbolic link to bring the data elsewhere ?

can I delete older files ? at least to get it working for a short time.

Also I noticed that into the folder /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata
there are folder for the data of removed / deleted hosts.

Do I need to keep those ?
