Hi all,
is there a working guide on how to set up nrpe under SELinux from the very beginning?
I could not find anything relevant online and our knowledge to SELinux is not very deep since we are only using SLES and mainly Debian.
Thank you for any help.
Kind regards.

Re: nrpe on SELinux setup
Thanks for reaching out @hfo-telecom,
Have you seen the NRPE policy that is already available?
https://linux.die.net/man/8/nrpe_selinux
https://www.systutorials.com/docs/linux ... e_selinux/
If none of those work. We don't have a specific policy for just NRPE that you can just install, but I can offer you some guidelines in order to create your own.
This provides info on how to create a type and a policy.

I would read some of the following documentation:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation ... inux/index
https://selinuxproject.org/page/Main_Page
SELinux packages:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation ... th_selinux
Let me know if you need further help.
