Network port2 missing and port1 not detected

hi,

I don't know what to make of this but I used the switch and router wizard so I could monitor bandwidth, during the initial add-on of this node, Nagios only sees port2 and other port that comes up as missing after its configured. Port1 is nowhere to be found even when the “scan port” is enabled to detect all network ports.

Below shows during the add-on of this node with port1 not detected BUT port2 shows up (but bandwidth cannot be found after). I would have though perhaps this is port1 but I cannot tell since it does not work.

Port1 is my primary and Port2 is to another route so I can’t really change them.
I’m really new to codes and command lines but does anyone know why this is happening?

As for the missing port, is it Administratively down?

No, it's actaully the main connection to the server, both ports are active but only port1 is connected.

This looks like it isn't port 1 it is port 196612 a miniport adapter. Are you sure this is what you want to monitor?

Hi,

This is my point, I do not want to monitor the miniport, I need to monitor port 0 and 1 but only port1 shows up. I dont' have a mini port on this server, there are only two ports for the internet. There also is no iLo on this so I don't know what its see or not seeing here.
