NagiosXI Installing addons -NagiosDigger

Post by nagiostest »

I would like to know how to generally go about installing third party add-ons. Im using centOS, and some of these addons do not have any installation or user guides. How do i get an addon like NagiosDigger to run?
Thanks In Advance!

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with this plugin, nor do I speak French.. Maybe you could contact the creator of that particular addon

For third party addons that we haven't documented or tested, we just have to refer people to the project's documentation and support channels. Nagios XI uses a source install of Nagios Core underneath, so most of the documentation should match what is on that site. However, changing the global event handler will totally change how all alerting and event handling will work with Nagios XI, so use that part at your own risk. All of the XI notification management will cease working if you change the global event handler.
