OK, I just noticed that you showed us two different commands...

You run from the command line:
. / check_nrpe-H $ HOST-p 5666-v-l SERVICESTATE service1-t 100
and say that it is working fine, but *same* command is timing out in the gui...

However, you show a completely different command on your screenshot - "check_mailbox"... What happens when you run this command from the command line?

Can you verify this, please?

Hi,
yeah, you're right.
if I run the command on console mode, I get the same result:

Code: Select all

./check_nrpe-H $HOST -p 5666 -c check_mailbox -t 200
Result: Service Chequed Time Out

I don't believe this is a Nagios XI problem. Check the command that you are executing. Also, review the "Troubleshooting" section in this document, concerning timeouts:

I rebooted the machine in the process dnxcld slave, and now it works.

I do not know why, but it works.

thank you very much to all for your time!
