Hi all,
I have two VDSL internet lines that terminate at a Watchguard firewall and from there to a switch, and then to the PCs. I want to know if I can monitor these two internet lines using Nagios XI. For example, if one goes down, I want to receive an alert.
Let me know if you need further assistance!
VDSL internet lines
Re: VDSL internet lines
Hello @fanis_imetrix,
Thank you for reaching out!
You should be able to monitor your Watchguard device (including the ports your internet lines plug into) with the help of the Watchguard Wizard!
The following documentation should help you get that configured:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... -Usage.pdf
If you have any further questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to reach out!

Re: VDSL internet lines
Hello @ajcoil,
Thank you for your response!
Actually, I'm looking to monitor the VDSL internet lines directly from Nagios XI without involving the Watchguard device. Is it possible to configure Nagios XI to monitor these lines independently? I want to receive alerts if one of them goes down.
Thank you!
Best regards
