Publish dashboard on kiosk (no auth needed)

How, if possible, could a dashboard get published to a kiosk or other users without login and without timeouts?

My searching only points to old links suggesting the deprecated backend api, and then the link to the 'objects api' that looks like a whole long page of json with nothing appearing to reference my use case. I hope I'm overlooking something simple somewhere.

It sounds like what you are looking for is auth tokens. You can find more information about them at Help -> Developer Docs -> Auth Tokens
