How to show Warning & Critical thresholds on Status Information column, and also on Notifications

Post by gregbeyer »

When I look at services, I can see if a service if OK, Warn or Critical. But I would also like to see what the thresholds that define Warn or Critical are. How can I get that information to display in the Status information Column, and also on notification messages? For this particular service, Critical is defined as 60%, which I'd like to see. That would show me how close to going critical my "OK" condition is.

Hello @gregbeyer,

There are a number of places you can find your warning/critical thresholds.

I believe the most common way to view this would be to set up a dashboard with gauges. The gauge dashlets give a good indicator for how close you are to your warning/critical thresholds.
The Details->Metrics page also has another type of gauge that features thresholds.
There are also some other places where you can find them, but I believe that these are the best way for most people.

I hope that helps
