Post by adamc817 »

Hello, we used the Dell OpenManage Plug-in for Nagios XI, but it looks like it is no longer supported.

adamc817,

Your best bet at this juncture is going to be to check the Nagios Exchange for plugins others in the community may have made.

That said, I'll make a note internally that such a plugin is desired. Please note this is not a promise that one will be delivered.

Best Regards,

Cory Norell

With that said, the Dell plugin is still available freely, despite the lack of support for it from Dell. You may want to consider continuing to use it as long as it is working and there isn't a better alternative available.

ty Both, we are having some trouble getting the original Plugin to work with RHEL 8, but we will do some more work.

We did check Nagios Exchange and saw redfish, there isn't many votes and is a few years old so I am not sure how widely it is implemented.

We will continue to take a look. ty for the quick replys!

If you've got the development expertise within your organization, tweaking it for your needs is definitely also an option. Best of luck!
