stuck at t/07-zonefile.t

I'm upgrading from 2024R1.2 to 2024R1.2.1 and the upgrade freezes at t/07-zonefile.t. My OS is Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS.

I'm not able to replicate this particular upgrade error. Can you provide the last few lines of your upgrade.log file? This could provide a clue as to the root cause. It would also be helpful to know if this is a tarball upgrade or RPM.

It's tarball.
t/05-X25.t ................. ok
t/05-ZONEMD.t .............. ok
t/06-update-unique-push.t .. ok
t/06-update.t .............. ok
t/07-rrsort.t .............. ok
t/07-zonefile.t ............ ok

It freezes on t/07-zonefile.t and nagios starts alerts that 'No output on stdout' for all monitoring services.

I am running into the same issue when updating from 2024R1.3.3 to 2024R1.3.4. What did you end up doing to get the update to complete?

I had to manually download the update, disconnect my virtual NIC from the host, and then run the update. Once updated, I then enable the virtual nic again.
