Nagios XI and Nagios QL vs Nagios Core

I use nagios core 4.4.14 with nagiosQL utility in order to manage new check , configuration ...

Does is it possible to use nagiosQL and mariaDB with nagios XI ?

In case of negative ansert , is there another similar tool ?

Another question :
In my nagios core installation I use gearmand tool in order to distribute the check over othe nagios gateway server

Does is it possible to use the same tool with nagios XI ?

I use to use Nagios QL for the purpose of easier and faster configuration.....but once we went to XI, I was able to drop Nagios QL.
I think it's great

https://servername/nagiosxi for the XI interface and

https://servername/nagios for the core interface.
