Hi @PaulRajeshMEzra45,

Thank you for reaching out!

It sounds like you attempted installing Nagios XI on a server that you already had core configured on, is that correct?

User unable to access Nagios web interface

Post by NishV »

Hi Nagios Support Team,

I am facing some rather strange issues with Nagios. I am using Thruk Monitoring Webinterface Version 2.48, OMD 4.41~2022-04-20-labs-edition.
(1) Even after providing access to user, the user is unable to view any hosts/services on the web interface. Below is the contact cofig file i use for all of the users -

define contact {
contact_name userid
use generic-contact
contactgroups cg
email emailid
}

(2) Also one of the user was able to view the console before, but is now unable to login to Nagios gui and everytime he tries to login, a separate user template gets created with login status as login failed. Refer attachments.

(3) Also many a times while doing changes a bug report appears. Refer below -

Url: conf.cgi
Browser:
Version: 2.48/ OMD 4.41~2022-04-20-labs-edition
Release: April 02, 2022Backends: State / Program Version / Data Source Version
0 / 1.3.0 / Livestatus 1.3.0-naemon

release: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.9 (Maipo)
