Hi Support,
I am testing the naigosix on vm.
I am currently monitoring a solaris host.
The ping is fine but it got connection refused by host on the service cpu / memory / etc.
How can i assign a login detail when probing this host?
meaning to say, i would like to use a preset username and password when probing this solaris host.

Re: Connection refused by host
Now that we have that out of the way, what are you using to monitor the "cpu/memory/etc..?"
Re: Connection refused by host
Firsly, i didnt see my post came up, so i thought the post didnt go thru successfully, thats why i post again.
I run the monitoring wizard.
Choose Solaris
Key in IP address
Accept all the default and click next and click finish
Is there a way to key in my login details of the solaris box?
meaning to say, whenever it check the solaris box, it will use the preset username and password that i given?

Re: Connection refused by host
This is going to depend on the type of checks you are using.
Did you run the Solaris Wizard? This required the install of our Solaris Agent and doesn't authenticate the traditional way.

You can if you have Solaris 10max wrote:can i not use the agent?
The agent doesn't authenticate with a username/password, so there is no need to specify one.max wrote:can i use specify username/password for the solaris box?
