Nagios web ui is up after installing Nagios core on RHEL9 VM in vcentre. The monitoring checks are not working for the vcentre and esxi hosts.

Which plugin are you using?

I am using
check_vmware_api.pl: A Perl script that uses the VMware API.

Nagios has a new vSphere plugin, and you will need the pyvmomi sdk from Broadcom as well.

The old perl sdk from Broadcom is deprecated and difficult (though not entirely impossible to install on RHEL 9).

The easiest way to get it is to download the Nagios CSP distribution at https://www.nagios.org/ click download.

It's in the Nagios XI that ships with that. Fire it up, go to Admin-->System Components-->Manage Wizards-->vSphere and you can download it.

So i downloaded the file CSP-latest which is 3.53 Gb and when I extract the contents below are them. I did not see any vsphere plugin anywhere.
