VMware configuration wizard not working - nagiosxi2024R1.4.1

Deployment: Nagiosxi2024R1.4.1 on RHEL8

I am trying to get the VMware configuration wizard to function on our deployment and continue to get:
"It appears as though you have not installed the VMware SDK or ESX plugins on your Nagios XI server. You must have these components properly installed on your system before using this wizard."

I have gone through the document for: Overcoming lack of VMware SDK with VMware Wizard
I have also looked at: Monitoring_VMware_With_Nagios_XI.pdf but it states that the SDK is being deprecated so figured with the new version i just needed the work around.

Any ideas of what I'm missing or need to correct to get the wizard to work?

If the wizard says you need the SDK, it means it. No SDK, no wizards. As far as I know, the perl SDK was depricated several years ago.
I think there might be a python script on the exchange for checking vmware. https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... nts/VMWare
