Can no longer import dashboard 2024R2?

Post by eloyd »

So with 2024R2, there is no longer an "Advanced" section in the "Load Dashboard" button. In fact, the "Load Dashboard" button is no longer there. This means that there is no way to import a dashboard JSON file through the web interface. So our award winning dashboard from 2015 can't be loaded except by logging into the box and putting it into the proper directory on the filesystem. This makes me go sad face emoji. 😔

Hi Eric, I believe that this is also covered by our internal issue NLS#527.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hopefully this is just an oversight and not a permanent change.
Playing Doodle Jump presents a constant challenge, thanks to the game's dynamic platforms and creatures.

No, it's most definitely not a permanent situation. We do want to migrate old dashboards, however field mapping from old fields to ECS compatible ones isn't a trivial feat. As I responded to Eric, keep an eye on the change log for issue 527 to show up.

RIP to the “Load Dashboard” button. Gone but not forgotten. May your JSONs someday load again without CLI sorcery.
