Nagios core to XI

I have nagios core 4.1.1 and I want to go to nagios XI. There is a mix of RedHat 6-9, Windows 2012-2022, and some appliances (ping only checks for the appliances). I've got a few questions. And we want to use NCPA in passive mode.
(1) Is there an easy way to pull in the core config (hosted on linux) in Nagios XI?
(2) If I can pull the configs in, will that set off alerts and emails to users from XI? I don't want that to happen.
(3) When I use the configuration wizard to import a Windows server, it does not see all the drives and gives me 5 things - disk usage (one line with all the disks bundled together so C:, D:, E: are all in there not separated), Memory Usage, Process count, Swap Usage, and CPU. I installed the agent and the listener is running but why isn't every showing?

Hello @EllsworthQuigley,

1) Nagios XI has a feature to import your configs from Core which will serve you well.
2) The new configs will only send notifications if the targeted hosts/services are in a non-OK state.
3) Which wizard are you using here? If you're using the Windows Server Configuration Wizard and you have NCPA on the target server, you will see all of the metrics you listed along with user count, separated disk metrics, network interfaces, services and processes, windows counters as well as any plugins in the target server's ncpa/plugins folder.

Migrating from Nagios Core 4.1.1 to XI with mixed OS and using NCPA in passive mode. Can I import configs easily without triggering alerts? Also, Windows wizard doesn’t show all drives—any fix? Crazy Cattle 3D
