Best Nagios Plugins for Mixed Linux/Windows Monitoring (Web, Logs, SSL, MySQL)

I'm setting up Nagios to monitor a mix of Linux servers, a few Windows machines, and some web services (HTTP, SSL, MySQL, disk/memory usage, and basic logs). What are the best plugins you recommend for this setup — especially for log monitoring and SSL expiry alerts?
