Nagios Proxy?

Post by MaterazziSan »

Hi,

Do we have some kind of equivalent to Zabbix proxy?

It would be something in the middle to Nagios Server and target remote machine, for getting metrics and sending back to Nagios Server.

Thank you!

Best regards

Hello @MaterazziSan,

Coincidentally, a pair of devs within Nagios have recently started working on this very project: A wizard that will take all of your Zabbix checks and route them to Nagios XI. If you have any suggestions, feel free to reach out or post here and we'll do our best to accommodate and integrate your suggestions into the solution.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. My point was more if we have a way to collect nagios metrics with something in the middle between Nagios Server and target hosts.

Something than collect monitoring data from one or more monitored devices and send the information to the Nagios server.

This is called Zabbix proxy, in Zabbix land. Just asking if we have some equivalent in Nagios land.

Best regards
