Nagios XI Host and Service status empty

I just noticed this today....
in Nagios XI (

Installed Version: 2024R2 On Centos 9

)
Home / (under Details on left) Service Status

its blank
it says 'No matches services found'
same with Host Status

Hostgroup Summary is empty
Servicegroup Summary is empty

as is Servicegroupgrid and hostgroupgrid

nothing is in the search field.
Hostgroup Summary and Service groups summary are full of data.

any thought?
