Hello,
I have been using XI to monitor the network traffic for my company and have encountered an unusual issue. Looking at the performance monitor for the router service, I have noticed that the traffic would drop to 0 often. Now, this would be a huge issue if that were the case, but I have verified that this is not a problem on my end. I can provide more details if needed, but this has been an issue for quite some time now.

Re: Router Performance Monitor Issue
Hi adampham4877,
Could you please provide a few more details about this? Could you also please provide the service name, the check command, and the output of running the check command? What version of Nagios XI are you running? What is the base OS and version?

Polling & Timing Issues
Polling interval too long or misaligned
Short traffic bursts can be missed if XI polls infrequently.
Counter resets between polls
If the router reboots or reloads interfaces, counters may reset to zero.
Service check timing out
A timeout may record a zero instead of “unknown.”
