Free variable definitions - xi 2012

Free variable definitions defined don't display in the new core config manager however still appear in the legacy ccm. Attached is a sample service definition.

editing them in the legacy ccm seems to leave them in an "Out of Sync" status for sync status. Adding via the new core config manager will erase the previously defined variables and the new variable won't appear after a refresh. I can upload screen shots if required.

No need for a screenshot, I have confirmed this behavior as a bug and filed a bug report

I'm sure we will have this resolved before the next release.

Both items fixed in SVN for next release. If either of you need a hot fix before then let me know.

Install the new CCM component through the Admin->Manage Components page. Let me know if the issue still persists.
