Is it possible to remove this by default ?
Thanks
Remove Swap Memory from Wizard
Re: Remove Swap Memory from Wizard
Hi @jj_cla,
The swap on Windows Servers and Desktops is actually referring to the pagefile. I recommend that you do monitor this type of memory usage.
I do not think the templates that are used by the wizards are user configurable, but you might be able to find a way to do it.

Re: Remove Swap Memory from Wizard
It isn't a good idea to use wizards to create the same service for multiple hosts. You would be better off creating a service once then making it generic so it can be applied to any host with that OS.
Say you use a wizard to create 100 checks for 100 hosts. Then management wants to change the monitoring interval for example. You now have to change it in 100 places. Not fun.

Hi cdietsch,
it wasn't monitored for years so not sure it's really important on my side, but thanks
Hi kg2857,
i have this when using wizard to create a new host, not multiple.
it seems to be the template for windows OS that now includes the swap, which i prefer to remove by default, or just disable.
Thansk !
