Performance graphics black and white, where'd my color go?

Please... where did all the color go in the performance graphs? Lines all used to have distinct colors, and now it's all black and white and impossible to visualize...

Hi @GldRush98,

Do you have a dark mode plugin for your browser running? If so, I would recommend disabling it on XI to see if that helps.

If not, what browser are you using? What XI theme are you using? When did this issue start?

I would also try clearing your browser cache and/or try a different browser to see if the issue persists.

You have a misunderstanding of the issue. This is not a local issue, this is a bug in Nagios XI.
This is a bug inside Nagios XI's highcharts implementation, that occurs across browsers and across different servers.
The bug appeared in one of the recent Nagios XI updates, but I don't know which. 2026R1.1, R1.1.1 or R1.2.

Anyone can see this bug:
Set your theme to Modern Dark, make sure highcharts are enabled, and you'll see the colorless charts.

I am looking for a fix for this, or at least at know it's going to be fixed soon.... I've had to disable high charts for the time being as they're making data visualization impossible, however the fallback charts, despite certainly being colorful, are quite ugly and less informational than the highcharts counterparts.

Thanks for the additional info. I was able to recreate your issue with the Modern Dark theme. I have created an XI issue for this bug GL:XI#2468, please keep an eye out for this in the changelogs to confirm the fix. I cannot commit to any time scale but it seems like something that should make it into XI in the next release or two. Please see post below regarding this issue.

In the meantime, you should be able to change your XI theme to something else and the colors should return.

Quick update, it looks like this bug has been addressed in the upcoming release of XI 2026R1.3.
