Nagios XI Enterprise version 2024R1.4.1 /mod_gearman

Dear Nagios Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

We are currently running Nagios XI Enterprise version 2024R1.4.1 in our environment. Additionally, we have mod_gearman installed, and the version in use is 1.1.19.1.

We would like to know if there is any official version of Nagios XI that includes mod_gearman as an integrated or officially supported component.

Could you please advise on this, or let us know if there are any recommended approaches or supported alternatives for distributed monitoring?

Official Nagios Mod Gearman support was added in 2024R2.1.

I am reviewing the Nagios XI changelog (https://www.nagios.com/changelog/nagios-xi/) and I could not find any information regarding Mod-Gearman.

I would like to ask a couple of questions before proceeding with an upgrade:

When upgrading the Nagios XI master, will the current version and configuration of Mod-Gearman on my server be preserved?
In case there are any changes related to Mod-Gearman, are they compatible with the version currently installed on my workers?

I want to ensure that the upgrade will not affect the existing setup or cause compatibility issues between the master and the workers.
