Can't save column view

Can't save column view

Good morning,

Trialing log server (we have had XI for years) and having a very frustrating problem. Saving a dashboard doesn't save the column order OR the sort order. It DOES save everything else (which columns are selected, rows, etc.), just not the order.

Flushed cache, all the standard process, and I'm at a total loss. If I drag a column to a different position or change the sort column key, when I save the dashboard on the next load (or hard refresh) it resets.

Suggestions?

We have an open issue for saving the order of the columns. Keep an eye out for issue NLS#739 in the changelog. While I can't promise a timeline for it, it is one of those things that we have flagged as feature parity with the NLS 2024R1 and earlier dashboards that we want to get to very quickly.

Ahh got it, thanks for confirming.
I thought I was going crazy since everything else was saving fine 😅
Good to know it’s a known issue and not something misconfigured on my end. I’ll keep an eye on NLS#739 then. In the meantime, is there any workaround at all (maybe via JSON export/import or manual config), or is it just something we have to live with for now?

We don't have an alternative at the moment. However the fix for this is in the pipeline and will be coming soon.
