Nagios XI - Platform Migration from Oracle Linux 8.x to RHEL 8.x using convert2rhel

Hi Team,

We have requirement to migrate all our Nagios Systems from Oracle Linux 8.x ( currently running on ) to RHEL 8.x using convert2RHELhttps://www.redhat.com/en/technologies/ ... nvert2rhel method i.e., on existing Nagios system . So wanted to check if anyone has performed this activity and will it upgrade/repoint all Nagios associated libraries w.r.t repos , PHP Modules , MySQL modules etc ?

Any help and guidance is greatly appreciated .

Thanks for reaching out. I do not have experience with convert2rhel. We do have documentation on how to use the Backup/Restore process with an additional distro conversion step to bring in the correct binaries.

Make sure you get to the section Changed Operating System Version / Architecture / Family for instructions on running the conversion script.
