BigFix and XI automate downtime

Hello everyone,

We use BigFix for our Windows patching and we have to put all of those servers in downtime during that patching window. Is there a way to automate that?

We use Ansible for our Red Hat servers, and that works fine. But we have the directive to use BigFix for Windows so we can't do that.

There is a REST API endpoint for scheduling downtime with XI. The API docs are onboard XI. Easiest way to get there is to use the search bar, enter "API" (without the quotes) and then go to system reference.
