We're trying to install NagiosXI on a fresh Debian12 vm. We've followed the instructions from this guide (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... I-2026.pdf) and we've run into several issues that prevent us from completing the full install. We have to downgrade libssl3 and openssl packages, ran into mount issues with the /tmp directory, had to reinstall shtool, and ultimately which prevents us from completing the install is snmptrapd service failures and database password issues. We've tried on several Debian12 machines which all end in the same result. Below is the last messages from the install.log.

Re: NagiosXI fresh install on Debian12
Hey @sawdusty,
The new version of Nagios XI released earlier today (2026R1.6), you might want to give that install a try.
