Devices not getting visable in dashboard

Hi All,

I am new to nagios, i have installed the nagios core in sever and i configured the devices in nagiosql but it is not getting visible in dashboard. Please can somebody help to solve this problem,

Might need a little more information on the steps you've taken... Did you write the config files out? Can you see the changes in the config files in your nagios/etc/ directory? Have you restarted the Nagios daemon? Did you tick the "active" box in the configuration for your new devices?

I dare say the problem is probably pretty simple, we just need to know what you've tried first
