Hi,
May I know how i can create a dashlet for "Open Service Problems" view like "Latest Alerts" dashlet, so that I would be able add "Open Service Problems" into the home dashborad?
Thanks

The easiest way would be to right click "Open Service Problems" choose copy link location
Then go to Dashboards -> Available Dashlets -> Custom URL Dashlet
And paste the URL you copied in the Dashlet URL field
Then go to Dashboards -> Available Dashlets -> Custom URL Dashlet
And paste the URL you copied in the Dashlet URL field

Could you please clarify your question a little bit? It seems some terms are getting muddled together.

Re: Custom dashlet for Open Service Problems
“Open service Problem” URL has 3 components, Host status Summary, Service status Summary and the list of opened service problem details. I would like to have a dashlet with the list of "open service problem" only.
Thanks
Thanks

Let me play around with this. It's a pretty good idea for a dashlet as long as you don't have a running list of 100+ problems

Here, install this through the Admin->Manage Dashlets page and see if this will get you what you need.

Reason: Updated dashlet. The original had whitespace in it that broke performance graphs and other graphics.

Re: Custom dashlet for Open Service Problems
Downloaded this Dashlet and it works great. I need to have one that only shows the Critical Alerts, though, not Warnings. I would also like to have it for the Hosts in a Down state. I followed these instruction to see if I could use the Tactical Over view -> Host Status url but I'm having issues with the sizing it. No matter what I put in for the sizing, it always seems to default back to it's original size.
• Home Tab
• Click Tactical Overview
• Under Services click the bold word x Critical
• This opens up a page with only the critical items (you can see the filter Service=Critical)
• Then you can click the icon to add it to a view, or the popout icon which will give you the full URL

The sizing issue of the Dashlet has been corrected in the latest version of Nagios XI.
