I had a couple linux servers being monitored that have MySQL on them. I ran the wizard for MySQL Server and added all the checks. I left notifications enabled but unchecked all the boxes. When a service had an issue, it notified everyone setup on the host, is that how it is supposed to do it if no contacts or contact groups are selected for the service but notifications are enabled? I don't care if that is how it is supposed to work, just want to know for future reference.
Thanks

Re: Notifications enabled but nobody selected
Yes. If a service has no contacts assigned either directory or otherwise it will inherit the contactgroup from the host.

That's cool. I've just never left it blank before. Now that I know, that is half the battle.
