Monitor Windows Server without client

hye guys. i'm new here. i want to ask, can we monitor windows server services without having to install NSClient++ on that windows server?

Yes you can use SNMP, and other passive style checks. There are also alternatives to the NSClient++ Agent such as NC_Net, though I'm not sure if it is up to date.

Thanks. i will search about it. This is to protect client privacy, because not all the client want the agent to be installed on their server. I am just starting to use ubuntu server and nagios, and all of this are new to me.
