Nagios XI: Freshness Checks - Guidance Needed

G'day Guys,

Trying to get my head around Freshness Checking.

Is it technically possible to set-up Freshness Checking and subsequent notifications (e.g. email or SMS) for:

"Checks submitted from a Nagios Core slave via NRDP"

Other than http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ith_XI.pdf is there any other doco?

I would use the freshness checking as per page 3 of that document with check_dummy, but you can apply it to the template if you want it applied to all of your passive checks...
