I added one to one services for some servers. At some point I disappeared again services.

I enclose photos of the two views that do not match.

I ask the customer an explanation on the following question.
I will post a host and then create a hostgroup
I create for this hosts any services and then when they join the service to servicegroups disappear from hostgroup and if I decide to remove them from servicegroups not find them anywhere anymore in hostgroups even
if it did is a big bug.
three weeks trying to find an explanation to the problem but I think it depends upon this issue I would like to have a support from you.

After lots of staring at these screenshots, I'm noticing that you have parenthesis in your group names, which are illegal characters for Nagiosql. Upon attempting to create a hostgroup with the name 'test_group(bugtesting)', I received an error when I attempted to Apply the Configuration. I'm not sure how the configuration has been able to go through with invalid characters, but I'm wondering if that could be causing an issue. I recommend changing the parenthesis ' ( )' characters to some other format. Again, I don't know how the configuration was able to apply with this, because it's not supposed to with NagiosQL. Maybe a problem with the importing tool?

Will you try something for me? Can you create a new group in XI through the CCM without any parenthesis, add some hosts/services to it, see if it applies, and see if any disappear. (Make sure the host or services don't have parenthesis in the configs either.). If they still disappear then the problem lies elsewhere and we need to keep hunting.

If this doesn't work, can you send us the zip file with your most recent configuration snapshot? It's hard to get the full picture of what's happening with just the screenshots.

Are all the file names you are uploading uniq? Uploading the same file name twice may cause the previously uploaded file to be replaced.

I'm a bit confused by the steps you are taking.

Can you provide us with a copy of the config you are trying to import? I'm not sure at what point I'd want it, perhaps just prior to when you run the import prep-tool.

Keep in mind these forums are public, so you may want to msg up privately with instructions for downloading the config. I'd normally advise to have any sensitive information removed. I'll just have to hope that it's not an issue with special chars in passwords or anything.

It would help us if we knew more about what was happening. Are you working on the Nagios server your self directly? Are there others currently using the system? Please describe the working conditions and level of expertise.

Then the situation.
For the moment ....... I only work on nagios.
Then there will be people who will use it as a monitor without administration.
Nagios is installed on a physical server into the server room and I join him from my office.
Use firefox for the web part and ssh to access the Linux box I installed on RH 5.5 32-bit.

I use nagios core 3.2 for the old nagios for about three years.
My company has seen that it is a good product and I get it to appreciate.
My boss has decided to buy the paid version to facilitate the management of nagios in order to involve those who are not familiar with linux

I have tried several ways to enter data.
But I have always found problems.
Now, for example I decided not to file with the tool isere

look what I found in the directory /usr/local/nagios7etc/services

I have created two check proc that control two different processes.
Nagiosxi created two files that are similar but has a different space. It has given old.
I have not touched anything in the file only with web page

ok now

Before I deleted the page that had the ENI_CHECK space then I removed the one hand with the old data out of space.
Now they are gone and everything is back in place

I have now added two check.
everything is ok.
The third check after i have selected apply configuration
disappeared the services in view hostgroups attach photos

I do not think of making a mistake if a service is ok.
Why the latter should get rid of it all?

I think nagiosxi has problems and can not replace production in the old core nagios

In the server nagios there are file whit definition check for host but in web ...... no
