My apologies, that doesn't appear to be the issue.

Have you done any manual changes to your MySQL tables or configuration?

Can you send us a zip file with your configuration snapshot? (You can email or private message it to us if it contains any private data).
With that, can you you also send us the output of: ps waux in a text file?

other file snapshot

The strange thing is that if I open the nagios core, everything works and is configured and I see all the different views in check

Thank you, we'll take a look at these.

Another thing you could try is to kill all instances of Nagios processes, and then restart them. If you really wanted to be safe, you could shut down and reboot your Nagios server, but I can certainly understand if you don't want to go that route.

does not change even if I make a kill of nagios.
nagiosxi I think just not working well.
The web pages do not show the correct configuration. But it is possible that only I have this problem? Ok I have many resources and a configuration quite important

Now I am waiting anxiously for your response.
I really hope it is just my stupid mistake.
I tried and tried in every way I do not know what to do. I have devoted much time to this problem but without being in charge. If there was a bug How long must I wait before a new release?
Thanks

Another question?
Because after I deleted everything from my nagios configuration, the nagios core and the nagiosxi still show everything?
I performed the procedure so that the letter did not give me errors when I applied the new configuration

surely if you manually delete the files under usr / local / nagios / etc. everything back in place, what happened?
Thanks

Absolutly nothing. The files should be restored just as they were.

We get the question from time to time, for example how do I reset my configuration back to the default or blank out my configuration.

The answer is this is impossible. The simplist way is to start with a new VM and install NagiosXI. It's advised to use NagiosXI in a disposable environment, for this reason and others.

The best thing you can do to help is to walk us thought each and every step explaning what and why, staring at the very beginning. Let us know the results of our advice and respond to our questions. It seams that you are getting further and further off-course, but you are not saying much else. We would try and assist, but first you need to inform us of what is going on and why.

so ....... recapping. 1) You can not completely empty the nagios like I did with the nagios core. In that case ( nagios core ) it was enough to empty or delete the cfg file. We must re-install.

2) I reinstalled the nagiosxi. I decided to send a doc where I put all the screens of my work on nagiosxi. Then you can just send an email to your address with all the files from the old core nagios.
Tell me if I have to file log or other details as I will now a new configuration.
Bye Diego
