Bulk Renaming Tool Config Name

Currently the Bulk Renaming Tool only allows for "New Service Description" adjustments. Would it be possible to have "Config Name" changes done here too, if not, what is the recommended method for mass renaming aside from going through each individually?

You can "mass rename" hosts/service by selecting more than one host/service in Stage 2. When the host is renamed, the config name is changed automatically to the name you've selected. We've decided not to implement same functionality for services, because of the possible complications, when services are added to hostgroups, etc. So the config name for the services won't change. However, you can see what hosts will be affected by the change (in the "Affected Hosts" column).

You are welcome to post a feature request on our bug tracker. If there is enough interest from users, we may try to implement the config renaming feature for services (if possible).

Understood. For hosts that's okay, but there could be hundreds of services which require a bulk update (On the name).
