We are working on our Nagios Test Box and Two Production boxes. When we look at the Browser Tabs (IE8, IE9, Chrome, etc.) all the tabs show Nagios XI. This is causing problems because we cannot tell which tab is for test or the 2 production boxes. Is there a way to change what is displayed on the browser tab so we can quickly identify which tab belongs to which server?
Thank you!
Allen

Re: Browser Tabs
The product name title is generated from encrypted php. But there is a custom logo component that will replace the nagiosXI image in the upper left corner.

Will that work for you?

Re: Browser Tabs
Andy has a great suggestion, alternatively of course there is always the name of the server or it's IP which would be indicative of it's use.
Unfortunately that will not show on the tab's title itself.

Re: Browser Tabs
Download the following component and upload it to your XI server via Admin > Manage Components. Then you can access the Custom logo page from within Manage Components.

Re: Browser Tabs
OK I downloaded and then upload the customer logo but it gave me an error. I then scrolled through the various components and found the custom logo. Here it is displaying the logo image nagiosxi-logo-small.png and for the Logo text I changed it to display Nagios XI - Test System The target URL is http://www.nagios.com/products/nagiosxi/ which I did not change. I do not see the new logo text I entered displayed anywhere. Am I missing something? Also, this will not do anything to the Internet Explorer Tabs will it?

Re: Browser Tabs
The logo component drops a logo above your Web UI, it does not add to the tabs, what was the error that you said you received?

Re: Browser Tabs
I just tried to upload it and it installed. I then went to custom logo and the change I made in my last post was still there. So I tried to upload the component again and received the following error: Component installation failed. Uploaded zip file is not a component.
I sitll am not seeing the custom logo and amd not sure where it appears on the page.
