Can i limit warning alerts tonce.

Hi,

Can i limit my warning alerts to once. ie.. I have any warning alert i want that to be send to only once untill that issue is resolved or recovered.

Is this possible ?

If you mean WARNING and CRITICAL, just notify once, you can set the "Notification interval" to 0

If you want CRITICAL's to renotify but not warnings, you would need to setup escalation

This setting can be changed by adjusting the "notification_interval" for the host or hosttemplate. Access the Core Config Manager->Host->Modify(icon)->Alert Settings (tab). If you set the notification interval to 0, it will only notify once upon a state change.

Ok if i do that how about my critical alerts, will they also be send once or do i recieve the alerts untill it is resolved or recoverd

Because I want my critical alerts to be send util the issue is resolved.
